This year’s Thanksgiving provided loads of opportunities for Knights to volunteer in the communities where they live and work!

In SoCal, Knighted Neighbors partnered again with @themidnightmission to help assemble goodie bags for the homeless in and around Skid Row. Over 1,000 bags containing needed items like socks, hand sanitizer, and other hygiene goods were eagerly sorted and bagged to be distributed on Thanksgiving Day.

Another team of Knights arrived at Midnight Mission on Thanksgiving Day, with grins from ear to ear, to help serve a delicious holiday meal to 2,500 people affected by homelessness. Team members also got to spend quality time with members of the community, stirring up friendly conversations and creating joyful memories.

Up North, our Sacramento Knights arrived early in the morning to volunteer at the largest Thanksgiving Day fun run in the country – @sacfoodbank’s Run to Feed the Hungry. Here, the team took on the roles of Course Monitors, which were essential to the safety and success of the race.

All in all, our Knights had a wonderful time making the holiday extra special for those who need it most. Thanks for having such big hearts, Knighted volunteers!
