October turned out to be a successful month of giving back with a specific focus on women! Knights in California volunteered or ran at events that focused on helping fight breast cancer and domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
In Santa Monica and Silicon Valley, Knights volunteered at two separate Making Strides for Breast Cancer walks. They helped set up, tear down, and hand our refreshments to all the event walkers while also having a great time coming closer as a team. In Sacramento, Knights had the opportunity to participate in Run For A Safe Haven’s 5k. We want to say a special thank you to My Sister’s House for hosting this noteworthy event and for wanting to put an end to the abuses that significantly affect women and children in the Sacramento community.
