Homeless women often face challenges in accessing basic necessities like food. In March, our Knights stepped up to the plate to help address this problem head-on. They met multiple times at the REEF to assemble snack packs for the Women’s Center of Downtown Los Angeles.

Our LA Knights created snack packs containing critical things like sandwiches, granola bars, fruit cups, bottled water, and hygiene products. Our committed volunteers were able to provide 350 snack packs, enough for six days of meals! In addition, Knights from other locations also helped support this cause. They handcrafted beautiful cards with heartfelt, uplifting messages each to go in a snack pack. Though small, these snack packs made an enormous impact, providing sustenance and showing care to women in need.

Our volunteers’ work is another shining example of the power of community engagement and compassion. Through their efforts, they not only made a meaningful difference, but their selfless acts of kindness served as an inspiration for others.
